Cellulite
Cellulite is caused by a combination of factors that affect the structure of fat, connective tissue, and skin. It appears as dimpled or lumpy skin, usually on the thighs, buttocks, hips, and abdomen.

What causes Cellulite?
Hormones
Hormones, especially estrogen, play a key role in the development of cellulite. Other hormones involved include:
-
Insulin
-
Noradrenaline
-
Thyroid hormones
-
Prolactin
Lifestyle & Diet
A healthy diet and lifestyle are essential for skin. Nutrient-rich foods and hydration support elasticity, while exercise boosts circulation. Poor habits can lead to poor skin.
-
Poor diet (high in fat, carbs, salt, low in fiber)
-
Dehydration
-
Lack of exercise
-
Smoking

Genetics/Aging
Genetics play a crucial role in determining the elasticity and tone of our skin. These genetic factors can significantly influence the production of collagen, which is essential for maintaining skin firmness and structure.
-
Body fat distribution
-
Skin elasticity
-
Metabolism
-
Circulatory levels—all of which can impact cellulite.
Clothing
Wearing tight clothing (like elastic underwear) can restrict blood flow and contribute to cellulite in some areas.
Our process
Cellulite is super common—especially in women (up to 90% post-puberty), due to differences in fat distribution, connective tissue structure, and hormones. It's not harmful, but if you're curious about ways to reduce its appearance, there are options like massage, topical creams (which tend to be very ineffective). While treatments like RF Micro needling, Compression Therapy and Ultrasound treatments are very effective.
1. RF Micro needling
The RF Micro needling is used to break apart the connective tissue that is causing the appearance of the cellulite, releasing the skin to move with the structures below instead of trapping fat in little pockets.
2. Compression Therapy
Compression Therapy is a suit that covers the entire body minus the head and neck. It has a series of air bladders that inflate and deflate in sync with the lymphatic system, rapidly accelerating the removal of the fat cells and creating a smooth appearance.
3. Ultrasound Cavitation
The cavitation process increases blood flow to the area which helps wash out the cellulite. In addition to increasing blood flow the vibrations from the Cavitation will help break up more fat cells and the old connective tissue that was causing the dimpling.
