Experience

Aaron Gabrielse has been performing aesthetic laser procedures since 1998, he had the distinct privilege of providing lasers for the University of Wisconsin Dermatology Department, while working under and learning from Emeritus Professor Dr. Derek Cripps, inventor of the Sun Protection Formula (SPF factor) and one of the pioneers of lasers in Dermatology and medicine.

Cherie Gabrielse has been performing laser procedures since 2001 and performs all bikini hair removal at the Cosmetic Laser Center. She has also been working with Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists throughout Wisconsin treating vascular lesions.

Training & Certifification

Aaron is a Fellow in the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the ASLMS is the preeminent body in Medical and Aesthetic laser Technologies. He attends advanced courses through the ASLMS and continues training and research daily through internet resources.

Aaron also trained under Dr. Patrick Bitter Jr. and Dr. Stephen Mulholland, the pioneers of Fotofacial Rejuvenation, Laser Laxity Vectors and Wrinklelite Therapy. Aaron has also completed Advanced training through the Laser Training Institute, including Laser safety, Biophysics, Laser and Tissue Interaction as well as Thermal Relaxation Time (TRT).

He is highly regarded by physicians in the field for his expertise with medical and cosmetic lasers. Prior to working in the aesthetic field Aaron spent 6 years working in the Emergency Medical field as a Paramedic.

Cherie has completed Advanced training through the Laser Training Institute, including Laser safety, Biophysics, Laser and Tissue Interaction as well as Thermal Relaxation Time (TRT). In addition she has training in the anatomy and physiology of the skin and hair, skin typing, and complications associated with laser and light source device hair removal.

Medical Director, Dr. John Hallfrisch

Dr. John Hallfrisch, MD is the Medical Director of The Cosmetic Laser Center. Dr. Hallfrisch completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, receiving a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Public Health.

He then continued his medical education at the Medical School of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, completing his MD and Residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Family Practice and Public Health Preventive Medicine.
